Request for review of conduct concerning an MLS-listed property by Joan Lee

Good day,

I am writing to request a review of what happened with a client I brought to Jamaica to view properties.

I travelled to Jamaica with my client and arranged multiple viewings which included 33 THE GREENS ROSE HALL – MLS numbers 81713/94088 , which was listed in the MLS by Joan Lee Jamaica Sotheby’s. The listing agent had a representative conduct the showing while my client and I were present. After that showing, I learned that my client purchased the property through the listing agent without my involvement.

I am concerned that, after I introduced my client to this property and attended the showing with them, the listing agent dealt directly with my client to complete the sale. I would appreciate RAJ reviewing the communications and circumstances to determine whether the agent’s conduct was consistent with the applicable professional standards and MLS rules.

I can provide the showing arrangements, MLS listing, travel records, communications, and any other documentation that would assist your review. Please let me know how to submit a formal complaint, what information you require, and whether there is a deadline for doing so. I also ask that RAJ acknowledge receipt of this letter and advise me of the next steps.

I take this matter seriously. I travelled with my client to help them find a property in Jamaica, and I believe the circumstances deserve a fair and thorough review.
