The Board of Directors of RAJ is comprised of an elected group of REALTORS® who volunteer to oversee the operations of the Association. They review all recommendations from the Committees for approval and are responsible for setting the goals, and overseeing the products and services the Association provides to its members. Employment history

Please list 3 RAJ members (“referees”) from different companies who know you well or with whom you have consulted about your application for membership. Brokers must be recommended by two (2) REALTOR® members and at least one of the members must be a Board Director of the RAJ.

ID Non-Disclosure Agreement

I agree not to disclose my MLS access codes to anyone as I understand that this violation may result in cancellation of my ID numbers and penalties up to J$100,000.00. I also understand that my listings will appear on approved member website through an IDX (Internet Data Exchange) feed.

Indemnification

I hereby indemnify the REALTORS® Association of Jamaica’s MLS and its respective officers, agents, employees and agree to hold them harmless from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expense of any kind, including attorney’s fees and from liability to any person arising from a Member’s negligence or failure to comply with any obligations under the MLS and arising from my use of the MLS.

I hereby apply for membership in the above-named Association, and I understand that the Application fee is non-refundable if my membership is approved.

I submit my payment in the amount of J$ + US$ . In the event my application is approved, I agree as a condition of membership to complete the prescribed orientation course within 60 days after the approval of my membership. I hereby undertake on my own initiative to thoroughly familiarize myself with the Association’s Governing Rules and By-Laws and the Code of Ethics, including the duty to arbitrate business disputes in accordance with the Association’s Governing Rules and By-Laws and the Code of Ethics of the REALTORS® Association of Jamaica. I further agree that my act of paying dues shall evidence my initial and continuing commitment to abide by the aforementioned Governing Rules, By-Laws and Code of Ethics of the REALTORS® Association of Jamaica all as from time to time maybe amended.
