The name Billy Craig is synonymous with general insurance for over 40 years. The firm was established in 1963 as an Insurance Agency and in 1988 was granted Broker status writing business with the entire market, both local and overseas.

Billy Craig is registered under the Insurance Act 2001. The organization is a member of the Jamaica Insurance Brokers Association and subscribes to their standards and code of conduct. Billy Craig remains one of the few truly independent brokers operating in Jamaica. This affords their clientele the advantage of them not being biased in any way in the manner in which they conduct business, thereby allowing them to be truly professional in their approach.

Victoria Mutual began operations with The Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS) which was first opened its doors in 1878. Their founders, a group of Clergymen, led by then Rector of the Kingston Parish Church, Reverend G.W. Downer, formed VMBS with a vision of “meeting the needs of the deserving thrifty”. Recognizing that the needs of its Members have continued to change over the years, Victoria Mutual has sought to remain abreast of these changes, with a view to ensuring that its product and service offerings remain relevant and meet the needs of Members and customers. This has resulted in the expansion of its service offerings beyond the traditional savings and loans to include wealth management, money transfer services, real estate services and general insurance through our strategic business units.
